US Imaging.
US Imaging has indexed land records for counties across the United States for over 50 years — documents that prove who owns property, who holds a lien, who can sell a home. By 2023, they were sitting on a 10-million-document backlog with automation hitting only 80% accuracy. As Tina Arundel from US Imaging put it: "In our business, 90% accuracy is effectively 0%." Working with KnowledgeLake, they co-built an AI & Verify model — field-level confidence scoring that routes only low-confidence fields to human review, not whole documents. The proof was San Bernardino County, one of the largest counties in the country by land area. Accuracy hit 99.9%. Indexing staff dropped from 18 to 4. Processing time fell from days to 30 minutes. Same-day recording became the new standard. In 2025, US Imaging processed 5.68 million documents through the platform — with 31 counties in progress and the backlog cut nearly in half.
