KnowledgeLake and AIIM Industry Watch Report: “Uncovering the Secrets to Success with Office 365”

LOUIS, Mo. – January 17, 2020 – KnowledgeLake and AIIM have released a new Industry Watch report: “Uncovering the Secrets to Success with Office 365.” The report, which surveyed close to 250 information professionals, reveals several key usage trends of Office 365 and SharePoint in organizations.
The report includes key findings and trends in leading organizations’ use of Office 365 and outlines four major findings of this research. The research shows that Office 365 and SharePoint use in organizations shows no sign of slowing – 94 percent of respondents reported that they currently use or are planning to use Office 365 and/or SharePoint in their organization. Additionally, the report found that the cloud is now a key factor – but not the only factor – in the content platform strategies of most organizations. Furthermore, the report found that third-party content and process solutions that complement Office 365 capabilities are key to achieving organizational information governance and intelligent automation goals: although Microsoft continues to expand its SharePoint and Office 365 feature set, most respondents still rely on third-party add-ons to enhance functionality or fix shortcomings.
