The Solution Architect routinely operates in a multi-faceted client environment; they must feel comfortable in a highly versatile role and able to operate across multiple projects simultaneously. They will interact directly with the client and other members of the KnowledgeLake team.
The Solution Architect should possess a high level of technical expertise within the KnowledgeLake product line and their underlying technologies. They are expected to become highly proficient with all aspects of the KnowledgeLake products and the KnowledgeLake Professional Services Implementation Methodology.
A Solution Architect should have knowledge or experience in the following areas:
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to solve large complex problems
- Excellent business analysis and design skills
- Ability to manage a team or group of individuals
- Project management
- Robust understanding of the ECM industry
- Pre-sales skills
A Solution Architect has the following responsibilities:
- Ability to serve as Business Analyst, Engagement Manager or Project Manager on projects of any size
- Ability to serve as the Team Lead for other resources in Professional Services
- Ability to conduct a Scope of Work project for a large project
- Time and Resource management
- Understand all aspects of KnowledgeLake, including sales, development, support, administration and marketing.
- Provide pre-sales support to sales team as needed
A Solution Architect should work towards mastering four of the following:
- CDIA+ certification
- ECM certification
- PMI certification
- Obtain a leadership role in an industry-related organization
- Write a white paper (marketing or technical) for KnowledgeLake or an industry-related topic
- Participate in industry trade shows
- Research new technologies related to our industry and present to team
